We've been patiently waiting about a year now for Gemini to unveil it's newest CDJ unit for the masses. Wait no more as the Gemini CDJ-700 Multi-media player is now available on store shelves for all to own and use. On the heels of this announcement, Gemini decided to lend us a brand new review unit to put it through its paces. The Gemini CDJ-700 can be used to playback CD's, USB flash/hard drives, SD cards, and it can be used as a full-out MIDI controller that is compatible with almost all DJ software on the market today.

Pioneer’s DDJ-ERGO-V, currently bundled with the “Virtual DJ Limited Edition” software by Atomix Productions, is now compatible with Serato’s “Serato DJ Intro” software, with the updated version expected to be available as a free software download in mid December 2011.  Users of the DDJ-ERGO-V must have the latest firmware version 1.10 to use the Serato DJ Intro software.

When the iPad was announced back in January, many of us realized that the device would be perfect for professional DJ software.
